Forster Metallbau GmbH is one of the leading industrial companies in the Mostviertel region, in the Lower Austria, and offers sophisticated solutions in the fields of traffic technology, noise protection, shelving systems, object signage, advertising technology and industrial printing. Around 6,500 tons of sheet metal (aluminium, steel, occasionally also stainless steel), 2,200 tons of profiles and 250 tons of powder coatings are processed at this Forster site every year. Forster Metallbau GmbH has invested in a new laser cutting machine from Salvagnini in order to be able to operate even more flexibly at its Lower Austrian production site in StPeter/Au and to further expand the processing spectrum there. A storage tower including automatic loading and unloading as well as a sorting device for the cut parts make the laser a fully automated, highly productive manufacturing solution, which also impresses with its absolute versatility and high dynamics while simultaneously reducing energy and operating costs. Salvagnini laser cutting: L5 8kW high-power density and high-efficiency source cuts 4 mm mild steel

Salvagnini is presenting a world preview: yet another development, a new 8kW high-power density and high-efficiency source that guarantees 50% higher performance, cutting speeds higher than any other traditional 8KW source, and at thicknesses of up to 6 mm achieving cutting speeds even greater than those of a 10kW source. This new offering, in addition to its performance, can also be extremely advantageous in terms of financial sustainability: reducing the power of the source while keeping the cutting speeds high means reducing energy and gas consumption for the same performance. And in addition to lower consumption linked directly to the source, it also allows to reduce the chiller size. Consumption is therefore very similar to that of a 6kW source. As a supplier for plant, automotive, and mechanical engineering, Primatech has been a specialist in the production of welded assemblies and components since 2006. With the new company headquarters built in 2021, including a production hall with modern infrastructure and machinery, Primatech has created the conditions for a brilliant long-term strategy. With the new Salvagnini P2 panel bender, which has been in operation since the beginning of February, Primatech has succeeded in significantly increasing productivity in the processing of thin sheet metal up to a thickness of 3.2 mm: the machine sets up fully automatically, with a very fast throughput and 100% repeatability. Furthermore, Salvagnini's MAC3.0 technology detects any differences in the mechanical characteristics of the material compared to their nominal value during the cycle, adapting the movements of the bending unit and the manipulator to compensate them. Krosno Metal sp. z o.o., better known as the operator of the Rilling brand, is a leading manufacturer of professional refrigeration equipment for the HO.RE.CA. industry. It produces 10,000 devices a year at its plant, thus achieving a turnover of more than 82 million PLN. As a manufacturer of equipment for the food service industry, Krosno Metal product range includes refrigerated and freezer cabinets, refrigerated and freezer tables, refrigerated bar counters and waste coolers. The collaboration with Salvagnini began in 2010 with a P4 bending center and followed by the purchase of a new P2 bending center with a bending length of 2.5 meters. When the need arose to strengthen the sheet metal processing department with a second bending center to increase the production capacity, Krosno-Metal had no doubts and once again entrusted Salvagnini. The company chose the fully electric P1 bending center, which consumes less than 3 kilowatts of energy and has a footprint of just 8 square meters. Pro-Klima was founded in 1967, as a small private company, with the goal to produce highly customized air handling units. Its quality stood out and was recognized in 2015 when PRO-KLIMA was bought by the German Wolf Group and it was confirmed in 2023 when Pro-Klima became part of the Ariston family. In 2015 Pro-Klima decided to move forward with Salvagnini. The goal was to find a partner to help the company increase its productivity and improve its processes and that´s exactly what Pro-Klima found in Salvagnini. Wippro GmbH was born in 1955, and became a specialist in the design, development, and production of attic stairs and flat roof hatches made of steel, and high-quality wooden front and interior doors. Wippro has been working with a Salvagnini S4 + P4 flexible manufacturing system since 1998. With the investment in a new production line S4 + P4, equipped with an upstream sheet metal store tower and a downstream stacking robot, sheet metal components are punched, bent, and sorted for subsequent processes fully automatically.
