Get it Done with Automated Tote Assembly

FANUC’s Authorized System Integrator Adaptec Solutions designed and built an automated tote assembly system using a pair of vision-guided FANUC R-2000iC/210L robots. One side of the system is suited for warehouse equipment loading and unloading, while the other side is suited for production equipment interaction. About the System The system detects and handles two sleeve sizes, assembling each collapsed sleeve to a plastic tray, forming the tote. After assembly, each tote is automatically inspected and sorted by size, and subsequently, introduced to the customer's normal internal process for assembled totes. Then, an automated "topper" system places the inverted trays to the top of the loaded totes from production, optimizing efficiency of the assembly process. Trays delivered to the tote topper system will be picked by one of the FANUC R-2000iC/210L robots and inverted at the re-grip/cleaning station to be placed on top of the tote. Benefits • Maximizes handling capability and minimizes floor space consumption • Reduced process labor by 20% over the 15-cell operation • Recovered 25% of floor space in the production environment FANUC R-2000iC/210L The R-2000iC/210L industrial robot is the successor to the R-2000iB/185L. Lifting an additional 25 kg, the robot also offers improved rigidity, enhanced wrist load moment and inertia. The R-2000iC/210L is ideally suited to automotive applications such as spot welding. Its relatively small footprint means it easily fits into crowded factory environments. GET IT DONE TOGETHER. Bales Palletising with Willems Baling Equipment

???? How It Works: The robot places a cardboard sheet on a roller conveyor, ensuring it's centered. Positioned correctly, the robot then stacks bales of glass-wool-insulation from a belt conveyor onto the cardboard. Once the stack is complete, it automatically exits the line. With two stacking positions, the robot can continuously stack, and faulty bales are collected in a third position, also exiting when a full stack is reached. ???? Key Benefits: Minimal maintenance due to the sole movement of the robot, as opposed to conventional palletisers with numerous moving components. It operates as a fully automatic line. ???? GET IT DONE. TOGETHER. Polishing machine tending with COSMAP

The automatic COSMAP machine TR 4/6 CPDO is supported by the robotic cell equipped with FANUC robot M-10iD/12 for loading, unloading and rotation of stainless steel sheets that will then be polished to be turned into fabulous design accessorie ???? How It Works: The parts are loaded by the operator onto the robot's loading station outside the machine's operating area. The FANUC M-10 robot picks up the raw workpieces thanks to the pneumatic gripper and places it on the fixture of the rotary table to be so polished by the buffing units. Once a 360-degree rotation of the rotary table is completed, the parts are picked up again by the robot, which reverses the parts so as to polish the surface that was covered by the grippers in the previous cycle. Process is then repeated on this surface as well, and once the second turn of the table is completed, the robot picks up the parts from the rotary table to deposit them on the unloading conveyor. ???? Key Benefits: - Reduction in cycle time compared to manual loading of the rotary table with masked loading time; - Precision and reliability in part handling; - Constant productivity. ???? About COSMAP: COSMAP Srl has forty years of experience in the design and manufacture of automatic rotary table machines and robotic cells for grinding, satin finishing, buffing and polishing metal surfaces for a wide variety of applications. ✅ Follow us: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/fanu... GET IT DONE. TOGETHER. Automatic books labelling with Vaskon.

The Automatic Book Processing machine (ABP), developed by Vaskon, transforms book handling with the help of a FANUC SCARA robot, swiftly applying printed price labels. By automating the product flow, customers are able to greatly speed up the pricing and sorting process, and at the same time reduce sorting errors. ???? How It Works: A bin of books enters the machine and is tilted, allowing books to move onto a belt. An operator sorts them by placing each book barcode-up. Cameras capture book images and scan barcodes for ISBN codes. For books without valid ISBNs, an OCR algorithm searches for printed ISBNs. These codes are checked in a database of 55+ million books to determine prices and categories. If not found, the system calculates a competitive price based on online listings. FANUC SCARA robot prints and attaches price labels on-the-go. The sorting system categorises books by genre automatically and distributes them into smaller bins for bookstore shipments. This modular system can adapt to different category needs and layouts based on available space. This automation expedites pricing and sorting, minimising errors in the process. ???? Key Benefits: - High throughput (up to 2000 books/hr) - Automatic pricing, with competitive prices. Even if the book is not in the database (yet), a price is determined (by applying an online search algorithm), and the book is added to the database - Modular design ???? About Vaskon: Vaskon designs and realises special custom-made prototype machines based on customer specifications for many different applications. Vaskon is a member of the Valtech Group, a rapidly expanding organisation of independent companies specialised in machine building. ✅ Follow us: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/fanuc-europe Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanucEurope Website: https://www.fanuc.eu ------ tags: Automatic Book Processing, ABP, Vaskon, FANUC SCARA, book handling, pricing automation, sorting automation, barcode sorting, ISBN codes, OCR algorithm, database lookup, competitive pricing, modular design, high throughput, Valtech Group, prototype machines, custom-made machines, machine building, innovation, efficient book processing, error reduction, book workflow, smart technology, on-the-go labeling, book categorization, fast book processing, tech innovation, Vaskon machines, book inventory, workflow automation, price accuracy, book logistics, digital innovation, automated sorting, productivity boost, innovative machines #ABP #Vaskon #FANUCSCARA #FANUC #FANUCrobots #automation #robotisation
