The Optical Tool Detection System is a camera based system which is checking the tool set up plan. It consists of the LED illumination and the camera system. The tool setup is checked optically. The system indicates how to correct the tool setup if it is not correct or is correcting e.g. the back gauge position following the tool set up automatically.
