This Companion Specification covers both interfaces and definitions with respect to die-casting production cells and with respect to all devices associated or associated with them. For this several referencing CS or a CS consisting of many parts are planned. Ultimately, identification, condition monitoring, documentation, automation, alarms & conditions, configuration, process control, maintenance and service are to cover various applications and thus achieve standardized vertical and horizontal networking.
