Salvagnini panel bender: automatic bending of a LED light fixture

The P2 is the Salvagnini compact panel bender for lean, flexible production. In this video, the P2 panel bender bends automatically, in 98 seconds, a LED light fixture of galvanized steel sheet 0.8 mm thick. Windowed parts like the one used in this video are typical in the lighting industry. What makes this machining possible with a panel bender is the DPM manipulator, a suction-cup device used to handle narrow parts or frames without material.
