Safe operation of an ELENA 600-II longitudinal seam welder

TIG welding of stainless steel tubes using an ELENA 600-II SAFEGUARD . For large serial production, where special safety requirements are applied (higher than Directive 2006/42/EC), and where the operator is often changed, special additional safety features have been developed. These further reduce or eliminate the risk of injury with ELENA seam welding machines and allow operation of the ELENA seam welder by operators who have received only minor safety related training. These safety features are designed to be ergonomic and do NOT increase cycle time, despite allowing the operator to control the loading process.
