TruPrint 5000 – integrated in the additive process chain by Siemens Energy

Siemens Energy and TRUMPF are driving additive manufacturing forward - together as a project partner in the initiative IDEA (Initiative for Digital Engineering in Additive Manufacturing). Siemens Energy has integrated a TruPrint 5000 into an advanced additive manufacturing process chain. Thanks to the 500 °C preheating of the 3D printer Siemens Energy can 3D print high-performance alloys used for their gas turbine components. The additively manufactured components support decarbonization and secure society's energy supply.
