High Speed - Auto calibration Vortex 3D FL The smart auto calibration tool is able to correct mechanical deviation to the middle axis quick and easy through error compensation using the 5 axis drive system in less than 2 minutes! Same as for example at milling centers it is a standard procedure to calibrate the machining tool regularly to keep highest possible accuracy. Regular calibration helps the operator to compensate the wearout through software compensation program which is normal at all machine components during daily use or after very heavy collisions which can happen at materials with high tensions. Software compensation is able to compensate mechanical deviation of max 3 mm to less than 0,1mm. It is essential to achieve the correct middle axis position at different angles, especially in bevel cutting for automatic welding preparation to minimize the post-processes in the production.
