Machining with Standard Steady Rest Module

How to machine long parts on a standard CNC lathe? M.T. has the solution to mount a steady rest on the standard turret, without requiring any modification on the machine, as the steady rest is driven only with the rotation of the driven toolholder! M.T. Standard Steady Rest Module is a stand-alone unit, plug and play, available in two sizes for Ø 4- 64 mm and Ø 8 – 101 mm. As option, we have the possibility to equip the unit with wireless sensors for CNC feedback.
