Internal turning machining on a long cylinder (2,000 mm depth), material Fe 37. The long overhang caused deflection and vibration, with chip control problems leading to a non-conforming finish. The Steadyline® anti-vibration bar eliminated vibrations, made the operation safe and allowed for a good finish.
