Die WIG-Naht hat einen MIG-MAG Zwilling. Bei der Verbindung von dünnen und mittelstarken Blechen (1-8 mm) im Sichtbereich wird oftmals Wert auf eine ansprechende Nahtoptik gelegt. In der Vergangenheit wurde in der Regel zum WIG-Schweißverfahren gegriffen, da mit diesem Verfahren schöne, gleichmäßig geschuppte Nähte erzielt werden können. Zukünftig ist dies auch mit dem MIG-MAG Schweißverfahren möglich. Damit sorgt der Prozess für eine Vereinfachung in vielerlei Hinsicht. Das Ergebnis: Bildhübsche Nähte bei maximaler Geschwindigkeit.
